We then assume the height distribution of American singles is the same as the population.Hint You can replace "percentile" with the phase "percent of female or male American singles that are taller than". For example: Top 15% percentile includes male American singles equal to and taller than 6 feet (72 inches) or 15 percent of male American singles are taller than 6 feet. Assumption We assume that all American singles were born in America. This is not true. Singles who were born in other countries may not have the benefit of a western diet to maximize growth. | ||
