Dating Advice About Similarities

Dating Advice to Increase Similarities

  1. Increase your love odds by joining clubs or activities that you enjoy.
Surrounding yourself with people who are like you will drastically increase your odds of finding your soulmate.

  2. Surround yourself with people who are similar to you.
Being with similar people decreases conflict. It is only true for people who like themselves. If you hate yourself, you will be attracted to someone who is different or opposite from you. The result is two people who hate themselves in a dysfunctional relationship. You can not love others unless you love yourself.

  3. Do not pursue people who are different from you.
Pursuing someone who is different from you increases the chances of breaking up. Do not enter a relationship unless you have analyzed the consequences of these differences. Would your love interest's parents and friends accept you because your love interest is of a different race or a religious background? How would your family and friends accept your love interest? Do not waste your time trying to change someone who is different from you because they will not likely change. Do not count on changing your future-in-laws' attitude about you.

  4. Become interested in love interest's hobbies and interests.
If you do not like how your love interest spend their free time, they may not your soulmate. If you marry them, you might find yourself alone, while they find someone else who shares the same interest. The best approach is to rapidly research your love interest's hobbies and interest to see if you like these interests too. If you do not share the same interest, then you would increase your chances of breaking up.

  5. Convert to love interest's religion.
If you and your love interest can not fulfill each others spiritual needs, you both risk future conflicts. Do not expect anybody to convert to your religion later on. They may not and you may find your investment not paying off. Also, they may say they will consider converting, wait till you are already fully invested, and then decide not to. Now that you are older, invested your prime years with this person, and your social network is a lot smaller, you have to accept this non-believer who is surely going to burn in hell. Worse, this pagan or atheist may take every opportunity to undermine your faith. Also, your future spouse may not allow you to raise children under the same religious influences that you were raised with. Before starting a relationship make sure these religion issues are resolved.
