Love Advice About Opportunity Cost

  1. Most people are oblivious to recognizing the opportunity cost of love.
Most people are not strategic planners. They live day by day so they are unaware that being with the wrong lover is costing them an opportunity to be with the right one.

  2. Being in a relationship with someone who is not your soulmate is very costly.
Besides ruining your chances of finding your soulmate, the invested time, money, and energy that were wasted on the wrong relationship are lost. Of course most people don't want to admit that they screwed up, so they convince themselves and other people that it was a learning experience. It is like a bad investor who invested all their money on a hyped-up stock that they have failed to research and then the stock tanked. They convince themselves that did not make a mistake so they are not selling, riding the stock down. They are long-term investors now waiting for the stock to rebound. This belief is a lot easy to swallow then admitting that you screwed up, selling the stock, eating your losses, and investing the rest of your money elsewhere.

  3. It is very rare to find people who have many close friends, a career they love, and a soulmate.
There is only 24 hours in a day. Unless you don't sleep, you have to allocate your waking hours between your friends, family, finding love, and a career.
