Relationship Advice About Past Relationship Experiences

Relationship Advice to Influence Past Relationship Experiences

  1. If lover interest's or lover's future net benefit is great or you can not do any better, recommend him/her to get professional help to resolve his/her "issues".
You did not cause your lover's emotional baggage and you are not a trained therapist. Lower your emotional cost by telling your lover to get help. Also see #3 below.

  2. Avoid falling in love with the wrong people by influencing the variables of the Model.
Being aware what variables make you fall in love allows you to avoid situations that cause you to fall for the wrong person.

  3. If you came from a dysfunctional family or bad relationships, resolve your "issues" by yourself or with professional help before falling in love again.
Identify your issues and fixing them will greatly reduce your lover's love costs and make you more attractive. People with issues bring with them emotional baggage forcing their lover to pay additional emotional costs. By increasing a lover's love cost, people with baggage increase their chances of being dumped. This cycle of behavior becomes a negative spiral. By breaking this negative cycle, you gain more confidence and give others confidence that you can resolve future issues by yourself. This makes you very attractive.

Example of a Negative Cycle of Bad Past Relationship Experiences
    1. emotional cost of future lover = your emotional baggage + other emotion costs
    2. risk of being dumped = emotional cost of lover + other love costs
    3. your emotional baggage = frequency of being dumped or cheated upon
    4. go back to step 1
