Stagger your life by first focusing on career, then finding your soulmate.

The cost for this dream career is usually your social and love life. By fighting a two front war, to further your career and to find your soulmate, other people who have found their soulmates or don't care about love will beat you for the next promotion. For some people, it is best for them to focus of a career and then focus on finding a soulmate or vice versa. Don't settle for either career or love. Have it all.
